VVIP Security Advisory for 16th February 2025
Subject: Important Security Guidelines for Bharat Tex 2025 – Hon’ble PM Visit
1. Venue Operations Timeline on 16th February 2025:
- Regular operations shall continue until till 1 pm in hall 1-5.
- No car entry will be allowed within the venue from the morning of 16th February 2025 for all halls.
- Exhibitors with existing badges can take a drop-off at Gate 4 and 5 until 1:00 PM and must enter the venue as pedestrians. (All halls)
- Buses of overseas buyers shall enter through Gate 1 and 10.
2. Venue Segmentation & Movement Restrictions:
- The venue will be bifurcated into two parts:
- Hall 1-5 & Bharat Mandapam on one side.
- Hall 6-14 on the other side.
- Frisking will be conducted at two points for hall 2-5 and one point for hall 1 near hall entry gates.
- Senior representatives of EPCs are requested to be available at the entry points to facilitate movement.
3. Temporary Vacating of Ground Floor Halls (1-5) for ASL Check:
- Halls 1-5 will be vacated at 1:00 PM in a staggered manner for security clearance.
- Exhibitors and buyers are requested to vacate the halls patiently and wait outside.
- Buyer lounges at mezzanine of hall 1-5 will be operational till 1 pm only.
- Buyers have the option to move to the mezzanine floor for lunch and finish lunch by 1 pm before proceeding to the upper-floor halls.
- Buyers and exhibitors in the upper-floor halls 1- 5 must stay inside till the departure of the VVIP.
4. Post Security Clearance – Controlled Entry to Ground Floor Halls:
- Once the security check is completed, only exhibitors with pre-approved security badges yellow colour will be allowed back inside the ground floor halls from entry gate.(Please collect your security pass from respective EPCs).
- Such exhibitors must stay at their respective locations until the VVIP visit is completed which is tentatively till 5 pm
Exhibitors along the VVIP movement path will receive special proximity badges through their respective EPCs.
