Mr Rajeev Saxena, presently working as Joint Secretary in Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India is officer of Indian Railways Stores Service (IRSS). In his current assignment, he is looking after Technical Textiles and Innovation segment and also is leading prestigious National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM) as Mission Coordinator. In addition he is looking after affairs of Public sector Undertakings (PSUs) and general administration of the Ministry.

Past Assignments: His prior assignment was of Chief Vigilance Officer, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) prior to joining Ministry of Textiles. He has also worked in Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India (DFCCIL) as GM(Sores & IT) and in Ministry of Railways as Director/Railway Electrification in Railway Board and in different assignments over Western Railway and North Central Railway. 

Education: B.E. (Civil Engg) from MNNIT/Prayagraj (Gold Medal) and M.Tech (Structural Engg) from IIT/Delhi.

Work Experience: He has vast experience in Materials Management, Inventory Management and procurement and handled global tenders. In the area of vigilance management anti-corruption measures, he has vast experience and handled/investigated a number of sensitive cases. He also has long experience in general management, legal affairs and IT.
